Perhaps the most disturbing video, depicts what appears to be a cast puppets alongside McGruff rap about safety with highly questionable lyrics.

Leaked footage from unused takes of "The McGruff Files" shot in 1980s. No production houses are connected to them, only the NCPC and NSSF.

Even the likes of Chris Hansen, from NBC's To Catch a Predator and Hansen Vs. Predator on YouTube, stood up for McGruff in this short Twitter video.
